Today we have a final round of predictions for 2009. Unlike the previous round this set won’t focus on financial matters, rather I’ll rattle off some personal growth predictions. I hope you enjoy them and will give them appropriate consideration.

The New Year is upon us and it was great to see the major North American Stock Exchanges have positive returns on the first day of trading. Perhaps a sign of things to come.
As it is a New Year there are resolutions and predictions to be made. While I normally stay away from these things I thought it would be fun to put together a list of Financial Predictions. Should you follow the intention of these Predictions you will find yourself in a better financial situation at years end than you started! That is my prediction.

As the year wraps up and we look back on our accomplishments and old resolutions, invariably we find that our goal of loosing a few pounds didn’t work out for us.
This revelation can be frustrating and extremely discouraging. To shed some light on the issue I’ve tapped my affiliate partner Tom Venuto from Burn The Fat to explain how going another year with no results can be avoided.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, may the joy of the season be apparent in all our lives!
by Neil on December 22, 2008
Christmas is upon us and with it comes all those family meals that we love so much. With that of course comes the danger of over eating, though perhaps you just wear your comfy pants or undo your pant button.
The Christmas season is the one time of year when I’m very aware of all the extra goodies that I’m eating. However, it’s also the time of year that I worry about it the least. The last thing I want to be doing is counting calories during a turkey dinner!

“You’re pension should be boring.”
This got me thinking that boring really is beautiful. [click to continue…]

So you’ve decided to take the plunge and get back into the market. However, you know you don’t have the time or experience to research everything on your own. You know you need to work with an Investment Advisor; you’re just not sure if you can trust them.
You wonder if they’re looking after their best interests before your own. You want to know that they are accessible to you. Most importantly you want to know you can trust them.
If these questions are running through your mind, read further and hopefully your questions will be answered.

What do we look for in a leader? Do we hope they might inspire us? That they will govern justly? Perhaps that they are compassionate and understanding. Others view a leader as being one who will get the job done, no matter the cost.
We all have different expectations of what leadership is. These expectations are defined by our own experience. Regardless of what our expectations are we do expect our political leaders to govern efficiently and effectively.
Sadly, this has not been the case in Canada these past two weeks. Much has been written about the current political crisis and I’m not going to get drawn into the pros and cons of the decisions that have been made. What I want to do is look at the characteristics that the two leaders have displayed or not displayed as the case may be.
